March 2024 saw both Chanteuse and our smaller ensemble, Chanteuse Enchantée take to the stage at the Newcastle under Lyme Festival for Music, Speech and Drama.
Based in Staffordshire it was a great local competition and the standards were incredibly high this year with some excellent choirs taking part.
We were delighted that Chanteuse took home the trophy for the best Adult Choir and Enchantée were runners-up in the smaller ensemble section. It was a fantastic day culminating in a new trophy for the cabinet and a happy Treasurer receiving some prize money.
