Celebrating our success in Cardiff

Staffordshire’s very own, award-winning Chanteuse Chamber Choir have done it again!! Representing England in the International Choral Festival of Wales they were the winners of the Single Voice Choir Category, over the 2018 Easter weekend. They fought off tough competition to reach the finals in the Choir of Choirs competition for the prestigious Karl Jenkins Trophy.

The festival took place at the Wales Millennium Centre’s Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff Bay and was a musical experience to remember for both the choir and spectators alike.

Sue Brereton-Banks, Musical Director, commented “I am so proud of my wonderful choir. They are going from strength to strength. To reach the finals against such international competition was fantastic. If any other singers would like to come and join us on this exciting journey, please contact us."

Interested? Then don’t miss out on the opportunity to hear us at our next event, which is part of Stafford Music Festival. We will be joined by the exciting Ukrainian Male Voice Choir, Volya, on Saturday, 12th May at 7 pm (doors open at 6.30 pm) at Stafford Rangers Social Club. Tickets £10 adults and £8 for under 16s.
