Chanteuse Chamber Choir had a joyful run up to Christmas bringing smiles, songs and sparkle to Staffordshire. We've kick-started that Christmas feeling for hundreds of people at three concerts and a live performance on local radio.
The first concert was a private event serenading our local Armed Forces. We then held two packed concerts in Stafford, including one at the beautiful Sandon Hall, raising money for Sandon Church. We showcased a wonderful mix of Christmas music - old favourites, sing-along carols and newer works. The audiences excelled themselves with The Twelve Days of Christmas and our action version of Rudolph. Thanks to so many who joined us at these events, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Stafford Borough, Ray and Jenny Barron and Stafford MP, Jeremy Lefroy.
Our Christmas performances were completed by a slot on the breakfast show at BBC Radio Stoke. Alarm clocks ringing at 5.30am were a bit challenging, but Christmas jumpers, hats and antlers got us in the mood some early morning fun.
Thanks to everyone for your support. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and here's to singing more wonderful music in 2019.
